Hi, I’m Joel Freeman. I’m an Infrastructure automation engineer with a passion for technology and automation as well as an interest in cloud infrastructure, cloud technologies and software development.

I am currently working with in a systems administration role where I work with clients to create and automate solutions for clients running a multi-node highly available power grid management system using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, Oracle Database, Cassandra as well as an in-house automation solution similar to ansible.

My primary skillset is comprises of Linux, Windows Server, Shell scripting (Bash and Powershell), Python programming and scripting, Configuration Management (Ansible), Containerisation / Container orchestration, AWS and Terraform.

I have over two years of professional experience working with Linux and Windows Server and 1 year working with AWS.

In my spare time I like to work with cloud technologies and other interesting technologies to keep my knowledge up to date.
